Formatting Tips

  • In 2024, Lexicomp was rebranded to UpToDate Lexidrug.
  • Author: Use UpToDate Inc., which is the copyright holder.
  • Date: Use the year of the most recent publication/update/revision.
  • Title: Use the topic or drug article title in sentence case.
  • Source: Include both the specific database where you retrieved information (find out where below), as well as UpToDate Lexidrug. Include a retrieval date because the content is designed to change over time and versions of the page are not archived. Include the log-in URL, but do not add a period at the end.
