How do I get a library account?
The WRHA determines which staff are eligible for access to the WRHA Virtual Library based on licensing agreements. Many WRHA and HSC nurses, physicians, and professional staff have accounts created for them automatically and sent to them by email within a month of first starting a new position. This login will allow you to sign in and access WRHA Virtual Library resources. If you cannot find this email you can always contact the WRHA Virtual Library for help.
What if I didn't automatically receive an account?
- If you work in any of the following, contact Francine Harder via email and let her know why you need to access research as part of your role:
- Concordia Hospital, Deer Lodge Centre, Grace Hospital, Health Sciences Centre, Seven Oaks Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital, Victoria Hospital, Churchill Health Centre, Misericordia Health Centre, Riverview Health Centre, Pan Am Clinic, WRHA Corporate, or WRHA Programs/Services.
- If you are a WRHA-Contracted Physician, contact physicianinfo@sharedhealthmb.ca.
- If your workplace is on the eligibility lists below, enter your full name, work email, work phone, facility name, and an image of your staff ID in our registration form.
- If you work at a community health site not on the list below, contact Dana Leung.
- If you work at a personal care home not on the list below, contact Laurel Rose.
Unfortunately at this time Shared Health employees (other than those who work at HSC or facilities on the eligibility lists) do not have access to the Virtual Library. For more information contact SHLearningSharing@sharedhealthmb.ca.
